SideQuest is an original entertainment quiz in English, Vietnamese, Thai and Malay about how you handle ordinary moments. We made it for a little self-reflection and a good conversation with friends.

Looking for the SBTI test?

The interest in SBTI-style personality quizzes inspired this project. SideQuest is independently made: we haven’t copied the original SBTI question bank, scoring system, type names, or illustrations. We’re not affiliated with its creators. Our results aren’t interchangeable with SBTI or MBTI results.

What your result means

Twelve situational questions describe three preferences: social energy, daily rhythm, and how you try new things. Each preference has four equally weighted questions. The eight combinations make eight types, with the same scoring rule every time.

The descriptions are light, broad, and meant for entertainment. This model hasn’t been scientifically validated. It doesn’t diagnose anything or determine what you’re capable of. Your mood, situation, and answers can change.

Your answers stay in your browser

There are no accounts or email forms. Unfinished answers and your latest score are stored locally so you can continue and see your breakdown. Shared links contain only a type code and a generic share label, never your answers.

This local prototype also saves up to 500 interaction events in your browser, such as quiz completion, card downloads, and optional feedback. It sends none of them to a server. Anyone using this same browser profile can see local data. You can inspect, export, or clear it on the local validation page. Browser storage can be cleared at any time; the quiz still works without it, but won’t remember progress.

All questions, answer choices, result descriptions, and geometric character illustrations were created for SideQuest. No stock images, copied quizzes, or third-party character assets are included. The site uses Noto Sans fonts licensed under the SIL Open Font License, alongside system fonts and open-source software dependencies.
